Aluminum Can Trailer Burn Fund Program

Kettering
Firefighters Local 2150 take aluminum cans that are dropped off
at our various locations and turn them in at a local recycling
center.

The
proceeds are placed in our burn fund and donated throughout the
year to aid burn victims. Please take your aluminum cans to any
of the following locations:

KFD
Station 32 E. Dorothy Ln.
KFD
Station 33 Bobbie Pl.
KFD
Station 34 East Patterson
KFD
Station 37 Tate Rd.
Please
bring aluminum cans in plastic bags with only aluminum cans.
If there are other refuse items, sometimes it is very difficult to separate.
Sometimes the entire bag is discarded and the aluminum cans go to
waste. This is due to safety. The local recycle center has had
problems with needles and ammunition being in the bags or
cans.
Thank
you for your cooperation and your contributions.
